Central island project for Arrels Restaurant, led by Michelin-starred chef Vicky Sevilla. For this kitchen design with an invisible induction system, the Calacatta Gold porcelain model was selected, reflecting a balance between tradition and modernity. This ABKSTONE material, with its distinctive combination of golden veining on a white background, brings a sense of luxury and elegance, perfectly integrating with the rustic and authentic essence of the restaurant.
The island harmoniously contrasts with the space’s more industrial and rustic elements, such as exposed stone walls and terracotta-tiled floors. This contrast highlights the delicacy and sophistication of the material while respecting the building’s original character and history. Additionally, this kitchen serves as a central piece in the restaurant, adding personality and offering a more immersive experience for diners who enjoy the final stages of cooking.
The result is a visual fusion that not only enhances the space but also reflects Chef Vicky Sevilla‘s culinary approach: a balance between innovation and tradition.
